Code of Conduct- Chapter 1

Silence as a reply to a question is an answer in and of itself. A superpower when you were this rich. A response that says “you aren’t worthy of this bit of knowledge.”

I swallow, tucking the real one into a place inside me where the tiredness was finally starting to reach. I wasn’t in the algorithm, not because I wasn’t ready to meet my soulmate, but because there was some broken part of me that believed I wasn’t worthy of one.

I promised when I got to 25 preorders I would release Chapter 1 for Code of Conduct. We started the day at 20 and ended at 26! So…as promised, here it is! Happy reading.
